If you can read this then the first of the blogging software contenders is working. The first piece of software that I downloaded was Blog Entry Poster. A very simple looking blogging tool, I fear that this one is not really for me.

I think I can see the attraction for some people, Not tools to worry about, just write away.
Formatting wise It allows you to bold text, insert a picture (put not resize or wrap around it AFAIK), or add a hyper-link. However, I am so used to using Windows LiveWriter. Live-writer is a free piece of software that runs on Windows. It gives you supreme control over posting articles to your website including options to ftp images to your site, automatically resize images, add effects to images, and all the formatting that you would expect in a word processor.
Blog Entry Poster doesn't. Perhaps I could get used to this frugal style of writing, but I am not sure. It will do for now at least but I will be interested to see if I can find something more sophisticated.
PS. It does have a spell checker, an essential item for me.
